Syncing your favourite schedules, events, and reminders to Google Calendar ensures you never miss a moment. To provide the most reliable and secure experience, ECAL connects to your google calendar via OAuth (Open Authorisation).
- Step 1: Click the ‘Sync to Calendar’ button on the publishers website
- Step 2: Select the Schedule(s) you wish to add to calendar and click the ‘Sync Schedule‘ button
- Step 3: Select ‘Google‘ from the list of calendar applications.
- Step 4: Choose your Google account
*If you are a first time subscriber, you will need to allow ECAL access to your calendar. ECAL’s technology is hard-coded to interact only with the specific publisher calendar(s) you have chosen to add. Learn more about Google access or refer to our Privacy Policy.
Once accepted, you will be transferred back to the ECAL widget
- Step 5: Finalise the subscription by Confirming your details (publishers may ask for Name, Mobile, DOB)
- Step 6: Success! You are now be subscribed and you will receive your chosen events into your calendar
- Step 7: Check your calendar for a Welcome Message. This message confirms you have successfully synced and an insight of what to expect from the service. Your Google calendar will include a new subscription under My Calendars e.g. Cricket Australia, Formula 1, Premier League.
